AWARD OF THE DOCTORATE IN CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGY AND PSYCHOTHERAPY FROM THE UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA — IUFS OXFORD EDUCATION NETWORK, ACCREDITED BY THE US DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION, TO OUR COLLEAGUE MARIE FERHAT (France).
At a meeting of the Dissertation Council of the International University of Fundamental Studies, the dissertation by MARIA FERHAT was examined for the degree of Doctor of Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy.
The thesis, comprising 196 printed pages, aroused genuine interest and lively debate among the members of the Dissertation Council. The candidate’s academic supervisor is Professor Jouvais G., and the official opponents were the Dean of the Faculty, Vice-Rector Viktor Vitalievich Lukoyanov, Professor Natalya Petrovna Kovalenko, and a professor from the Department of Psychology at St Petersburg State University.
During the discussion, the following spoke: Professor Albert Ivanovich Krashenyuk, Prof Hans Kempe, Prof Darius Stefaniac, Prof Arman Lawson, Professor Mikhail Viktorovich Savelyev, and Professor Sergey Anatolyevich Katansky.
The candidate’s work received high professional acclaim.
By a unanimous decision of the members of the Dissertation Council, it was resolved to award Dr Mari Ferhat the degree of Doctor of Science in the specialisation ‘Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy’.
