The COVID -19 (coronavirus disease 2019) also known as the novel coronavirus, was a new infectious respiratory disease emerged in Wuhan, Hubei province, China in December 2019.

The interference of the COVID -19 pandemic has evolved numerous impacts on our mother nature as well as the climate. You may have seen some of the discussions in the media about the potential climate impact of the coronavirus related to the lockdown of the countries.

Due to the COVID -19 pandemic, the industrial activities had to shut down and thereby flights and other journeys were cancelled slashing greenhouse gas emissions and air pollution. It is a good sign to mention that our environment is recovering slowly. The World Health Organization (WHO) estimates that about 7 million people die each year from ailments caused by the pollution of air. WHO data shows that 9 out of 10 people breathe air containing high levels of pollutants.

The COVID -19 outbreak is considered as the most critical global health catastrophe of the century and the greatest challenge that the humankind faced ever since the 2nd World War. Even though the this threatened the human-kind, dirty brown pollution belts disappeared over cities due to the lockdown of countries.

Air quality improved largely as a result of the reduction in factory and road traffic emissions of carbon dioxide (CO2), nitrogen oxides (NOx), and particulate matter.Countries starting from China, then Italy, and the UK, Germany and dozens of other countries are experiencing temporary falls in carbon dioxide and nitrogen dioxide of as much as 40%, greatly improving the quality of air and reducing the risks of asthma, heart attacks and lung diseases.

During the same period, the coronavirus crisis keeps economic activities reduced. However, it would be short sighted to conclude this is as a durable environmental improvement as emissions will most likely rise to previous levels when the economic activities pick up as the crisis resolves.

In many countries, environmental protection workers at national parks, land and marine conservation zones are required to stay at home in lockdown. Thereby their absence has resulted in a rise of illegal deforestation, fishing and wildlife hunting. This will directly will be effected to the destruction of the environment.

Therefore, now it is the time for us to give our fullest attention and support to protect our mother nature. It is our responsibility to protect our environment as an act of appreciation for all the benefits granted by the nature for us and the future generations.

International Academy of Sciences Ararat, Paris, International Higher Academic Council, International University of Fundamental Studies, St.Petersburg - Moscow and American Association for Higher Education, USA will be organizing the Online World Scientific conference “COVID -19 crisis and the Ecological upliftment” which is due to be held in Paris from the 17th to the 19th of September 2020. This conference is a global platform to discuss and learn about the impacts of COVID 19 in Ecology and its associated fields, Evolution of Species, Plant & Animal Biodiversity, Biodiversity Management, Fauna & Flora, Biodiversity in marine.

We hereby invite all the World renowned scientists and researchers interested in this conference to participate in this scientific event and exchange the views, develop common approaches to understanding the environmental origins and consequences and introduce new innovations and suggestions, thereby joining hands with us to make this event a success.

We will be grateful to review your original, previous unpublished research papers under the topic of the conference.

Kindly wish to inform that the applications and abstracts are accepted until 10 August 2020, and please fill the online application for the registration.
